The school is inclusive and provides a dedicated Learning Support Department with a SENCO (KS4: Claire Hornsey; KS3: Sandra Janiszewska) and various support staff. Identification of needs uses information from feeder schools, Year 7 CAT tests, reading/spelling and related assessments, with interventions including TA support, 1:1 sessions, literacy and language support (AcceleRead/AcceleWrite), ELSA and other pastoral provisions; there is a Well-being centre and a Pupil Support Department, and annual reviews for EHCPs.
