"Following the loving example shown by Jesus Christ"
The Catholic Christian ethos of the school is the foundation upon which everything we do is built. RE is more than a subject - it is implicit in all that we teach. The children learn about the Catholic religion and learn about other traditions and faiths, following the Diocesan-approved programme God Matters.
St Patrick's describes itself as a friendly, family school on the east side of Southampton with a Catholic mission to follow the loving example of Jesus Christ. The school aims for high standards through love of learning, high-quality relationships and an inspirational curriculum, led by Headteacher Michael Lobo.
St Patrick's is a Voluntary Aided School and admissions are based on the school's Admissions Policy. If applying on the basis of faith, applicants must complete a Supplementary Information Form (SIF) and attach supporting documents (e.g., Baptism Certificate). For other year groups, applications may require an In-Year Supplementary Information form and an In-Year Transfer via the Southampton City Council portal. Open Days for Autumn 2025 are indicated, and Admissions Policy documents for 2025-26 and 2026-27 are available to download.
