I am extremely proud and privileged to welcome you to Mount Pleasant Junior School. We are a junior school that puts the child at the centre of all that we do. We believe that all our learners should be empowered to use their voice, develop resilience and know that they belong.
Mount Pleasant Junior School provides inclusive education for all pupils, using a graduated approach to SEND. The school is highly inclusive and includes pupils with Special Educational Needs and Disabilities in all aspects of the curriculum, extracurricular clubs and trips. Adaptations or different approaches may be employed to ensure equal access to learning, and the school works with parents and pupils to identify appropriate strategies to support inclusion. For further details please contact the SENCO – Mrs Helen Brennan or the Head of Inclusion – Miss Amy Warbey.
