Breakfast Club runs 7:45am–8:30am (includes breakfast). After School Care runs 4:00pm–5:30pm (includes a light tea; supervised homework club for Juniors). Bookings not cancelled by 12 midday will be charged. Late room operates until 4pm for Prep Juniors and Nursery at no extra charge.

Admissions Criteria

The Richard Pate School admits pupils at any age subject to place availability; most enter aged 3 (Nursery) or 7 (Year 3). Junior Department class sizes are 20–22. External pupils for the Junior Department must attend a taster day with informal English and Maths assessments. Before entry, both parents must complete the Admissions Registration form and return it with the current registration and assessment fee.

Financial Information

Schedule of School Fees – With Effect from 1st September 2025 (inclusive of VAT). Nursery: 5 Mornings £1,661 per term (8.30 a.m. – midday); 3 Full days £2,156 per term (8.30 a.m. – 3.30 p.m.); 4 Full days £2,875 per term; 5 Full days £3,594 per term. Prep Department: Reception £3,978 per term (8.55 a.m. – 3.30 p.m.); Year 1 £4,226 per term; Year 2 £4,499 per term. Junior Department: Year 3 £4,935 per term (8.55 a.m. – 3.40 p.m.); Year 4 £5,153 per term; Year 5 £5,480 per term; Year 6 £5,721 per term. Sibling discount 15% for the 3rd and subsequent children. Breakfast Club £6.50 per session; After School Care £11 per session; Late collection charge after 5.40pm £15. Invoicing: termly in advance; After School Care invoices half-termly in arrears; Inclusions: Lunches (not optional), Milk & match teas, Swimming lessons, Pupils’ personal accident insurance. Optional items include instrumental music lessons, instrument hire, some trips, and school uniform. 15 Hours funded childcare for 3 & 4 year olds is available. VAT is included where stated.
