Welcome to Stanway Primary School; we aim to give every child the best possible education and start in life, fostering creativity, strong basic skills and the development of caring, respectful relationships with families.
Wraparound care provides Breakfast Club and After School Club; the Extended Provision team includes an Extended Provision Supervisor and several Extended Provision Assistants.
We have a dedicated Nurture Room and Quiet Room to ensure inclusion and good mental health provision.
In oversubscription, places are allocated by the following criteria in order: 1) Looked After Children and previously looked after children; 2) children with a sibling attending the school; 3) children living in the priority admission area; 4) remaining applications. If tied, priority is determined by straight line distance from home to school, with those living closer given the highest priority.
