Curriculum Highlights

Core subjects: English, Mathematics, Science, Modern Foreign Languages, Humanities (Geography and History), Physical Education and Life Skills (PSHE and RE). Year 7–8: Art, Computing, Drama, Design Technology, Food and Nutrition, Music and Textiles; in Year 7 students study two languages (French and German or French and Spanish) and continue one language in Year 8. Year 9: core remains the same with continued modern foreign language and additional Design Technology, Food and Nutrition, Textiles; students can select two courses from Art, Computing, Dance, Drama, Music, and Sports Foundation (additional). Year 10–11 (Key Stage 4): English (Language and Literature GCSEs), Mathematics, Science (combined or triple), Geography or History (both possible), PE and Life Skills (including RE); four option subjects from Art, Art 3D Design, Art Textiles, Computer Science, Citizenship, Dance, Drama, French, Food & Nutrition, German, Health & Fitness, Media Studies, Music, Physical Education, Religious Studies, Sociology, Spanish.
