Breakfast Club starts at 7:50am. After school provision is run by Stay & Play (previously Pioneer Childcare) next door at Brackenbury Primary School until 6pm. They collect from St Nicolas first after school and at 4:15pm when our own clubs finish.

Admissions Criteria

Admissions follow a two-step process: 1) Apply through Brighton & Hove Council; 2) Complete the school's admissions forms. Admissions limits: Reception, Year 1 and Year 2: 60 per year group (30 per class); Years 3–6: 64 per year group (32 per class). For September 2025 intake, approximate distribution across criteria was: Criteria 1: 1, Criteria 2: 0, Criteria 3: 3, Criteria 4: 3, Criteria 5: 27, Criteria 6: 0, Criteria 7: 26, Criteria 8: 0.
