Admissions are managed by Brighton and Hove City Council. Stanford Infant School normally admits 60 children into Reception. The published Admissions Limit for 2024/2025 was 90. Priority groups are: 1) Children in the care of a Local Authority (looked after children), and children who ceased to be looked after because of adoption/residence order/special guardianship order; 2) Children with compelling medical or other exceptional reasons for attending the school; 3) Children who in September 2025 will have a brother or sister at the school or at a linked Junior School; 4) Children transferring between a linked Infant and Junior School; 5) Other children. If necessary, proximity to the school will be used to decide between children within any of these priority groups.
