Admissions Criteria

11+ entry involves Boarding Taster & Assessments, online assessments Part 1 Verbal Reasoning, Non-Verbal Reasoning, English and Mathematics; Part 2 with problem solving and creative writing, and an interview. Scholarships may be considered as part of the entrance assessments. 13+ entry uses ATOM online tests (Part 1 Verbal Reasoning/Non-Verbal Reasoning/English/Maths and Part 2 problem solving and creative writing) plus an interview; unconditional offers are made to those who meet entry requirements following the Assessment Day in December; deposits are required to secure a place and are refundable before 1 January; after that date deposits are non-refundable. 16+ entry uses Sixth Form assessments; deposits are required and a house allocation is made based on various factors including interviews and references. Common Entrance results are used for setting purposes only after an unconditional offer following the December Assessment Day.
