Ethos & Values

Be Individual Be Happy Be Respectful Be Determined Be Helpful Be Honest

Religious Education is taught according to the Dorset SACRE scheme. Children are enabled to question, reason and think honestly about their beliefs and moral values. They learn about major world religions, in particular Christianity, Judaism and Islam. They develop their spirituality through empathy, wonder, prayer and worship. Collective worship is a regular activity, generally taking place in assemblies through stories, prayers (where appropriate) and song. If you wish your child to be withdrawn from Religious Education or acts of worship, please discuss with the school and confirm in writing.
