Devon County Council is the admissions authority and the school participates in Devon's coordinated admissions schemes. An admissions policy exists for each academic year and is designed to comply with the School Admissions Code and School Admissions Appeals Code. Normal round intake is Reception at the start of the September term after the child’s fourth birthday; in-year admissions are possible for vacancies. Applications are made to the Local Authority (not to the school) and information about admissions is available at devon.gov.uk/admissions; the school also accepts applications for Red Robins Pre School (direct to the school).
