St Chad’s is a Church of England primary school with close links to St. Chad’s Church; worship is led by the headteacher or teachers, by visiting clergy from St Chad’s church, and by the children themselves.
Fiona Davis, Acting Headteacher, welcomes families to St. Chad’s and describes the school as a welcoming, inclusive Christian community with a vision of “A future with hope.”
Breakfast club runs from 7:30am until 8:30am with breakfast provided; After-school club runs from the end of the school day until 4:30pm with a light snack around 4:00pm. Preschool/Nursery children are welcome to access the breakfast and after school club within the school's main building. Activities include games and puzzles, arts and crafts, sport, imaginative play, nature walks, music and performing arts, competitions, baking, Film club; sessions are flexible to meet needs.
