"To educate young people to meet the challenges of life courageously, to use their talents to the full, and to live the values of Christ’s Gospel."
Thornton College is a Catholic school with a strong Christian ethos. It welcomes children of all Christian denominations, other faiths and none. The Sisters of Jesus and Mary are founders and trustees, with a community of Sisters living on site to support staff and pupils. Mass, prayer and chapel-based activities are part of school life.
Thornton College fosters a happy, supportive community with outstanding pastoral care, a broad curriculum and opportunities for leadership. Small class sizes enable individual attention, and the school invites families to visit via open days or personal tours.
