Headmaster Jeremy Banks emphasises Caldicott’s blend of traditional prep school values with modern, relevant education. He notes a 5‑day week model for Years 3–4, Saturday School from Year 5, flexible boarding options, and the aim to prepare boys for senior school while maintaining a strong sense of community. He describes Caldicott as trad-elevant and focused on developing boys as happy lifelong learners who contribute to society.

Admissions are conducted on an annual cycle. Registration is via an online form and is subject to availability. Applicants are invited to an assessment, which for younger children includes age-appropriate activities in Maths, English and problem-solving; older (10+ and 11+) applicants are invited to spend the morning with peers and sit an academic assessment. Offers are sent by email and there are three tiers: full offer, waiting-list offer, or not suitable. Parents are asked to provide a current school report and complete an internal questionnaire. Early registration is advised for 2026 entry and international applicants may require Child Student visas. If a place is offered, the first year’s fees are payable in advance. Full Terms and Conditions are available on request.
