SEND Provision

Hilltop’s Dandelion Resource Base for children with a primary need of Speech Language and Communication is due to open in September 2024. In the first year it will offer 6 places, growing to a maximum of 10. Children spend up to half of each week in the base receiving targeted SLC intervention and adapted teaching while accessing the remainder of the curriculum alongside their peers. Places are allocated through the RBWM SEND team and children accessing this provision must already have an EHCP.

Admissions Criteria

Admissions are processed and managed through RBWM. Nursery admissions are dealt with by the school and are offered according to the Foundation Stage Admission Criteria, with a Registration of Interest form. For Reception and above, the RBWM admissions team handles applications, with in-year applications available and school tours offered.
