Headteacher Mr G Booth welcomes visitors and describes Pirton Hill as a caring, friendly community focused on well-being and providing a broad, enriching and enjoyable education, with staff who support a wide range of curricular and extra-curricular opportunities and encourage parental/community involvement.
Early Birds Breakfast Club runs 7:30–8:45am and Night Owls After School Club runs 3:15–6:00pm. Sessions must be booked online via the Weduc app. The club is limited to 20 children per session. Cancellations must be made 24 hours prior to the start of the session for a credit. A late collection fee applies if a child is collected after 6:00pm. Fees (from September 2025) are: Early Birds £4.50 per session and Night Owls £10.80 per session. The service is registered for HM Government Tax-Free Childcare and parents are asked to email their reference number, child’s name and DOB to [email protected] to match payments. Registration is required for attendance and is done via the Weduc Parent App.
The school provides SEND information and support, including a SENDCo (Miss Keane) and a suite of SEND-related documents and policies (SEND Information Report, SEN Information Report, LAC policy, etc.).
Nursery admissions follow Luton Borough Council (LBC) Admissions criteria. Attendance at Pirton Hill Nursery does not guarantee a Reception place; parents must apply through the normal LBC application process and places are allocated in line with LBC Admissions criteria.
