Stopsley Community Primary School and Nursery is committed to providing an appropriate and high-quality education to all of the children in our care, including those identified as having SEND. The school narrows the attainment gap through a variety of provisions, provides Individual Education Plans for pupils receiving additional support, and operates with the belief that Fair isn’t equal, fair is when everyone gets what they need to be successful.
Reception to Year 6 admissions are dealt with by the Admissions team at Luton Borough Council. See Luton Borough Council Admissions for details.
Nursery offers the Government's universal entitlement of 570 hours a year (15 hours per week, 38 weeks a year) for children aged 3 and 4 living in Luton. In addition, 30 hours free childcare is available for eligible families with a valid funding code, covering the morning and afternoon sessions; a voluntary lunch contribution of £3 per day may be charged. Fees are invoiced half-termly and a two-week notice is required to change sessions or terminate attendance.
