SEND Provision

The school offers access to school counsellors. Counselling sessions take place within the school's designated counselling room within school hours and with as little disruption to their lessons as possible. Dorothy George, the Well-Being Manager, oversees the service in school. There is a self-referral drop-in at lunchtime where children can chat with the designated counsellor. Counselling can help with issues affecting a child, providing a safe and confidential space to explore worries and anxieties. Early intervention addressing mental health issues at a younger age can help prevent difficulties later on.
