Welcome to Seaburn Dene Primary School. We are a warm, vibrant community at the heart of our locality, dedicated to helping children dream big and reach their potential. Our vision is to be that little bit better, with a nurturing ethos that promotes love of learning, creativity, resilience and high expectations for all.

Curriculum Highlights

INSPIRE: The creative arts build confidence and help children learn and apply their understanding, with regular exposure to music, art, dance and drama. LINK: In today’s global world, children learn about and through the world around them, with extensive grounds, proximity to the beach and strong community links. ACTIVE: Physical education and being active are core to a healthy lifestyle and to delivering the school’s values. ENQUIRE: Science and technology skills foster curiosity about the world and the future, encouraging children to start small and dream big.

Wraparound Care

Breakfast Club: Yes After-School Care: Yes

Breakfast Club and Tea Club are managed by the school, opening at 7.30am and closing at 5.30pm, with entry via the FSU/Yr 1 yard. Breakfast and a light tea are provided. The cost is £4 for the first hour and £2 for every part half hour after this. The wraparound provision is delivered by familiar faces from the dedicated school staff team, with a sports coach also delivering active learning sessions before and after school. Families can register for Contract (guaranteed regular sessions) or Ad-Hoc Booking (occasional sessions) via the Kids Club HQ system; for questions, email [email protected] or call the School Office on 0191 5634100.
