Wraparound care is offered before and after school. Seahorse After School Club operates from 08:00 to 18:00, and Seahorse Holiday Club operates during holidays from 08:00 to 17:00. For Nursery and Reception, wraparound hours include 08:00–09:00 and 15:00–18:00 (with variations by age group and term). Charges apply as shown in the fees sections.
NHSG is academically selective. Entry requires an entrance assessment or examination for the relevant year group. For Early Years (Nursery/Reception) assessments are based on verbal and practical activities. Years 1–6 entry includes Reading, Writing, Spelling and Mathematics assessments, with Year 5–6 entries including an interview with the Head of Junior School and a current school report. Year 7 requires English comprehension, a mathematics paper, a computer-based test of verbal, numerical and non-verbal ability, and an interview, plus a current school report. Years 8–10 require English comprehension and extended writing, mathematics, non-verbal and verbal reasoning, and an interview, plus a current school report. Sixth Form requires an interview with the Head and Director of Sixth Form, and GCSEs (or equivalent) and possibly subject-specific requirements as detailed in the Sixth Form Course Details brochure. Transfers within the GDST may be arranged subject to place availability and Head approval.
Senior School fees per term: £5,986. Lunch fees per term: £346 (Year 12) / £304 (Year 13). Registration fee: £30 (British and Irish pupils) or £360 International Registration Fee. Initial International Enrolment Fee: £3,240. Deposit: £500 (British and Irish). International deposits and related fees apply for international pupils requiring visa sponsorship.
