Caedmon Primary School works with the EMTAS Team to promote inclusion, curricular access and to raise awareness of linguistic, cultural and religious diversity.
Head Teacher Mr Wisby welcomes visitors and describes Caedmon as an inclusive, happy school with strong relationships and a warm, nurturing environment. Caedmon Primary School recognises that all pupils are entitled to SEND provision and has a Special Educational Needs and Disabilities Coordinator (SENDCo). The school provides SEND support across four broad areas: Speech, Language, Communication and Interaction; Cognition and Learning; Social, Emotional and Mental Health Needs; and Sensory and/or Physical Needs. It has a designated teacher for Looked After Children (Mr C Wisby) who works with the SENDCo to ensure staff understand implications for looked-after children with SEN.
