Admissions Criteria

Reception: There is one intake each year at the start of the Autumn Term. Our maximum intake is 30 children per year group. Reception pupils are normally admitted to school in the September following their 4th birthday. Prospective parents are welcome to make an appointment to look around the school. Places are allocated in the late spring/early summer term. Nursery: Children are able to start Nursery the term after their third birthday. Places are allocated quickly so please place your child's name on the nursery admissions list to avoid disappointment. Entry into Years 1–6: Parents of older children moving into the area are welcome to make an appointment to visit the school and discuss admission with the Headteacher. Applications for places are dealt with by WMDC (Wakefield Council) School Admissions Team. For online applications see the WMDC Admissions information (Wakefield).
