Headteacher states that every child is a unique individual and the school aims to build on their qualities through a broad, rich curriculum, providing inspiring opportunities to become active, engaged citizens and lifelong learners.
SEND provision is managed and coordinated by the Special Educational Needs & Disabilities Co-ordinator (SENDCO) and overseen by the Headteacher. The school uses an inclusive, differentiated curriculum with targets set in pupil passports, individual behaviour plans, provision maps and SEND support plans, reviewed regularly to monitor progress. Parents are invited to review progress each term and are encouraged to engage in supporting learning. The school works with ancillary staff and other professionals to develop pupils’ SEND provision, with access to external agencies when required.
The school is a Leeds City Council community school with a Published Admission Number (PAN) of 60 for Key Stages 1 and 2 (two-form entry). The Nursery offers morning and afternoon sessions totaling 102 places.
