SEND Provision

Westroyd is an inclusive primary school, which strives to meet the individual needs of all its learners. We work in partnership with children, parents and other agencies to ensure high quality provision and provide the best possible outcomes for all our children, including those with a range of additional and complex needs. Westroyd values every individual and celebrates their achievements. How accessible is the school? We have wheelchair access through a hydraulic lift and portable ramps to enable access at the staff and delivery entrance point. There is also good accessibility to Early Years as the building is all on one level. There are disabled toilets in both buildings. Children have access to ancillary aids where required and we work closely with relevant professionals to ensure that our pupils have any resources that will help them to be able to access their learning. How to contact SEN? Please contact Miss Johnston on 0113 255 1601 or [email protected]
