Head Teacher's Message

I am very proud to be headteacher of this wonderful school. Gomersal St Mary’s is a strong part of the local community, supporting children and families emotionally as well as academically (Good school Ofsted June 2024). We encourage pupils to excel regardless of their strengths and this is underpinned by our vision: ‘By being the best that we can be, we all shine brightly making our world and school a better place’ Our Christian ethos underpins everything that we stand for and this is supported by our Steps to Success: Resilience, Respect, Love, Friendship and Forgiveness. Children are encouraged to challenge themselves in a supportive, nurturing and caring environment. I hope you can find all the information you require on this website, but if not please do not hesitate to contact school. Jane Barker
