REACH (Really Exciting And Creative Hangout) offers before- and after-school childcare for children from Year 1/2 upwards and also in the holidays for all school aged children. Pre-School provides before- and after-school care for children from Nursery to Year 1/2. Important timings in Term Time: REACH & Pre-School Open 7:30am; Drop off Zone (for Y3 upwards): 8:30am-8:45am; School doors open: 8:45am; Register opens: 8:55am; Register closes: 9:00am; End of Nursery Morning session: 12:00pm; Beginning of Nursery afternoon session: 12:15pm; End of school day: 3:15pm; Extended Day Club ends: 4:15pm; REACH & Pre-School Close: 6:00pm; REACH Holiday Club is open from 8am - 5:30pm
The school provides SEND support with a dedicated SENCo (Miss Andrea Haigh) and Assistant SENCo, following a graduated approach (assess, plan, do, review). There is access to external services such as Educational Psychologists, Speech and Language Therapists, Occupational Therapy, CAMHS, and other specialists as needed. An Emotional Literacy Support Assistant (ELSA) is available for SEMH support, and staff are trained in de-escalation and first aid. The school works with parents and agencies to create and review SEN Support Plans and, if required, My Support Plans (MSP) and annual reviews.
Nursery has 30 places and offers full or half-day sessions. The school age range is 3-11, with up to two classes per year group (up to 33 per class; Reception, Year 1 and Year 2 classes limited to 30). Open evenings are held for pupils starting in Reception and for Nursery.
