"Learning Today for a Better Tomorrow"
Welcome to Scholes Village Primary School. We are a small village school for ages 3–11, proud of our achievements and the close partnership with parents. We believe children learn best when school and home work together, and we aim to equip pupils with the skills for lifelong learning, emphasising oracy and our Scholes Values. We are committed to continually improving what we offer to children.
Breakfast and After School clubs run from 7:55am until 5:30pm.
SEND provision is led by the SENDCo (Sarah Dearlove). The school has links with outside agencies and the Kirklees Local Offer to support pupils with additional needs. Staff make reasonable adjustments in Quality First Teaching, with teaching assistants providing targeted support when needed. The pastoral team supports inclusion, and the school emphasises collaboration with parents and professionals; Ofsted (2019) highlighted strong safeguarding understanding.
