Admissions Criteria

Online applications for school places for September 2026 will open on 1 September 2025. Kirklees parents/carers should apply online via the Kirklees Council parent portal when applying for the normal year of entry to a school: Primary. Thursday 15 January 2026 – Closing date. House move deadline 15 February 2026. Nursery admissions should be made direct to the school. Our Nursery operates between 8.45am and 3.15pm – Monday to Friday. Every child is entitled to 15 Free Hours of Nursery education and most working parents are entitled to a full 30 Free Hours. Children can start Nursery the term after they turn 3 years old (Sept–Dec birthdays – January start; Jan–Mar birthdays – April start; Apr–Aug birthdays – September start). If you think you might need a nursery place, please complete an Application for Admission to Nursery Form and return it to the office. Nursery admissions information is also provided for those applying for Nursery and relevant contact is Alex Hill, School Business Manager.
