Clubs
Park Road School provides Quality First Teaching with a differentiated curriculum and uses an graduated approach to SEND. Pupils may receive Additional Needs Plans (ANP) or My Support Plans (MSP) with regular review meetings. If more complex needs are identified, potential involvement of outside agencies (Speech and Language Therapy, Educational Psychologist, behavioural support) may be arranged. The school teams with Locala Speech and Language Therapists for speech programmes delivered by Educational Teaching Assistants, and there is cooperation with the School Nurse. The SENCo works with external services and parents to tailor support, and progress is tracked to accelerate learning. The Thrive project is used as a pastoral programme to support wellbeing, and there are opportunities to involve outside agencies as needed.
