Head Teacher's Message

Welcome from the Head Teacher, Mrs Katie Pearson. Paddock Junior, Infant and Junior School is a large primary school educating children from age 2 to 11, with around 400 pupils including a nursery. The school is described as welcoming, nurturing and inspiring, with a diverse multi-cultural community. Staff, parents and the wider community are encouraged to work in partnership to help all pupils succeed. The message invites visitors to learn more by visiting the school.

SEND Provision

Paddock Junior, Infant and Nursery School is committed to the inclusion of all pupils. SEND can be described in terms of four areas: communicating and interaction, cognition and learning, social, emotional and mental health, and sensory and/or physical needs. The school can provide learning mentor intervention, short withdrawal and Teaching Assistant support, small group work, and intervention in English and Mathematics. SENDCo: Mrs E Borg; Learning Mentor: Mrs H Kermani. The Kirklees Local Offer is referenced for additional information and support.
