Sports
Bradford Christian School runs an Autism Provision (AP) that began in September 2015 for Secondary students and in 2017 for Primary students. It works with Bradford Local Authority SEN Assessment Team and SCIL to provide an enhanced provision with an Education Health Care Plan (EHCP). Provision includes an individual bespoke timetable, differentiated mainstream work, one-to-one and small group support, dedicated AP staff (including in the Secondary AP), Speech & Language and Social Communication/interventions, a specialist Play Therapist, and transition work with Further Education Providers. Students spend time integrating with the main school (e.g., lunch/breaks, assemblies, trips) as appropriate.
Admissions are processed October to May with a maximum of 12 students per year group (25 for combined classes in exceptional cases). Applications are online with a non-refundable administration fee of £55. Applicants consent to contacting their current school for information. For upper school, applications are considered until December of Year 9 with exceptions possible.
