"An Education Like No Other"
Headteacher welcomes visitors to Westbourne, emphasising a nurturing and inclusive ethos, small class sizes, strong pupil wellbeing, and a warm, respectful school community. The message highlights partnership with families and a belief that pupils should develop social and personal skills alongside academic achievement.
Westbourne is academically non-selective; your child is not required to sit an entrance exam. Admissions are accepted and reviewed holistically at any point during the year. The school welcomes applications from children with a wide range of abilities and invites prospective families to Open Days or personalised visits. After your visit, you may wish to register your child for a place at the school. A registration fee (£50) applies; upon registration, an offer may be made and a deposit (£250) is required to secure a place. For international admissions, additional considerations and fees apply as detailed in the International Admissions information.
Fees per term by year group: Reception £4,565; Year 1 & 2 £4,916; Year 3 to Year 6 £5,756; Year 7 £6,786; Year 8 to Year 11 £6,965. A Direct Debit scheme divides the annual fee into 12 equal monthly payments via the School Fee Plan (Premium Credit Limited). Fees include school meals, exam fees, worldwide travel insurance, games transport, general stationery and prep tea. Trips and specialist equipment are charged separately. VAT is included in all fees.
