Oversubscription criteria (in order of priority): 1 Catholic looked after and previously looked after children; 2 Catholic children who attend a Shrewsbury Diocese Catholic primary school listed by the policy; 3 Other Catholic children; 4 Other looked after and previously looked after children; 5 Any other children. Tie-break is distance from home to school; if distances are equal, random allocation. The policy also details proofs for Catholic status, residency considerations, and waiting lists. Sixth Form admissions have separate entry with minimum academic requirements (at least grade 5 in English and Maths and subject-specific grade requirements).
