Ethos & Values

Aspiration Resilience Achievement Respect Diversity Community

This ethos is our expression of our Christian roots, in schools which are fully inclusive and both welcome and respect students and staff of all faiths and none.

Admissions Criteria

Sale High School admissions are determined by: Looked After Children (currently or previously looked after); siblings attending the school at the time of proposed admission (including half/step/adopted/foster siblings living at the same address); catchment area residents (with priority given first to those in M33, WA14, WA15 and M23 within Trafford boundaries, then WA14/WA15, then M32); places outside the catchment area with a sibling attending; then all other applicants. If necessary, distance to the school is used to rank applicants, and in cases where applicants cannot be separated by criteria 1–5 a random draw is used to determine places.
