St John’s is a Church of England Primary School (Voluntary Controlled). The school is linked with St John’s Church and conducts collective worship with the church; it also celebrates diversity within its community.

The Breakfast and After School Club operates between 7.50am and 6.00pm, this is by booking only.
The school provides SEND support through a graduated approach including Universal Provision in class, Targeted Provision (bespoke support) and Personalised Provision (input from external specialists). Admissions to St John’s C.E. Primary School are managed by Stockport Council.
