Admissions Criteria

Ludworth Primary School is a 2-form entry primary. Each year, we can admit up to 60 children in our Reception classes. Children are admitted to a Reception class each September and start reception full-time in the September following their fourth birthday. Tours of the school (Autumn term) are offered. In-year admissions for years 1–6 are available. If numbers exceed places, a waiting list will be drawn up with priority for: children in need; children with brothers or sisters attending the school; children who live nearest to the school. Admission information for children with SEN follows the Local Authority Admissions Code; not refusing admission for a child named in their EHCP; considering applications from parents of children who have SEN but do not have an EHC plan. Applications should be made to Stockport Council at www.stockport.gov.uk/schooladmissions or by contacting the Ludworth Primary School office for advice. When admissions are completed, you will be contacted to arrange a visit or Early Years parent meeting.
