Curriculum Highlights

Our curriculum encompasses the demands of the EYFS Framework and National Curriculum, reflecting local contexts. Learning is designed to be broad, balanced, and ambitious with opportunities to apply numeracy, literacy and computing skills through an integrated cross-curricular approach. Foundation subjects are supported by schemes of work such as Kapow, Purple Mash (Computing), and 1 Decision (PSHE). Our school uses Read Write Inc phonics and a cross-subject approach to develop reading, writing and language. Maths follows White Rose, Primary Stars and Master the Curriculum to engage learners and develop a growth mindset. Curriculum is designed to be responsive to local context and pupil needs, revisiting and embedding learning to support long-term memory.
