Headteacher Mrs H Edge states Ashfield Valley is a good, safe, welcoming place to learn where pupils are valued and supported to reach their potential. Admissions Criteria

Admissions are administered by Rochdale Borough Council, which is the school's Admission Authority. Parents may apply to up to three schools (Reception 2025 information). If a place is refused, parents can appeal to the local authority. In-year admissions are possible if space is available, and the school can assist with the paperwork; contact the school office for guidance.

Financial Information

School meals: 1 day – £2.60; 2 days – £5.20; 3 days – £7.80; 4 days – £10.40; 5 days – £13.00. Pupils in Reception, Year 1 and Year 2, and some eligible children, may receive free school meals. Applications for Free School Meals can be completed via the Rochdale government site or via the school office; Pupil Premium funding is available for eligible children to support progress.
