Curriculum Highlights

Reading is at the heart of the curriculum; pupils are encouraged to read widely and engage in reading across all subjects; speaking and listening are prioritised to build vocabulary. Religious Education is core and follows the Come and See scheme; Caritas themes are woven into the RE programme. Spanish is taught in Key Stage 2 by a language specialist. The Daily Mile is part of PE; pupils have two hours of PE per week. Forest School and Outdoor learning features in the Wider Curriculum. The curriculum uses a Growth Mindset approach and a range of core texts to bring themes to life.
