Curriculum Highlights

Maths and English are taught in ability sets from Year 1 onwards. Weekly music lessons (guitars, African drumming and steel pans) on a termly rotation. Weekly Mandarin lessons delivered by a specialist Chinese teacher. Foundation subjects taught through a 2-year cycle linked to main topics. Inclusive curriculum promoting equality and celebrating diversity. Reading and phonics: Little Wandle Revised Letters and Sounds; use of SeeSaw for learning records.

Wraparound Care

Breakfast Club: Yes After-School Care: Yes

Breakfast Club runs 8:00–8:50am (EYFS/KS1) and 8:55am (KS2); sign-in in the school hall; no advance booking required; cost £2.40 per morning. Kidszone After School Care operates Mon-Fri in term time, 3:15–5:45pm in the school hall and outside play areas; holiday care runs during school holidays and charges apply (Full and half days). Fees for after school care and holiday care are listed on the site.

Admissions Criteria

Admissions to nursery/reception/Year 1-6 are managed by Manchester Local Authority. Priority for allocation is: Looked-after children or children in public care; children with exceptional medical or social needs; children who have a brother or sister already attending the school; children who live nearest to the school.
