Welcome to St Mary’s CE Primary School. We work together to educate each child by developing inquisitiveness and a passion for learning through a lively, challenging and innovative curriculum. We aim to foster a safe and caring environment helping children to develop as independent learners, creating positive attitudes and thoughtful values so they grow as well-rounded individuals ready for next steps in education.
Clubs
Breakfast Club runs from 7.30am to 9.00am (breakfast available; £6 per day). After-school care is planned to be provided from September 2025 by external partner Edstart, 3:20pm–5:45pm, with activities and a healthy snack; booking and payments are handled directly with Edstart; location in the Nursery and some clubs continuing as usual.
Wellbeing provisions include an Education Mental Health Practitioner (Skye) who supports pupils with anxiety, worry or low mood; staff have Emotional Friendly Setting training; Mrs Holding is Senior Mental Health Lead and works with SENDCO and pastoral staff to support pupils.
