Welcome to Our Lady Queen of Peace Catholic Primary School. The Headteacher describes OLQP as a nurturing, family‑orientated one form entry Catholic primary school in Litherland, emphasising safeguarding as the highest priority and strong partnerships with parents.

Our Lady Queen of Peace is an inclusive school and offers a range of provision to support children with difficulties in: Communication and interaction; Cognition and Learning; Social, emotional and mental health problems; Sensory or physical needs. The range of support deployed is tailored to individual needs and determined by thorough assessment.

Admissions Criteria

Reception: Applications should be made via Sefton Admissions on 0151 934 3590 or [email protected]. A Supplementary Faith Request Form should be completed and sent to the school. A paper copy is available on request. In-Year: For any other year group an In Year application should be made via Sefton Admissions on 0151 934 3290/3131. Nursery: Applications can be made anytime following a child’s second birthday; the application form needs to be completed and returned to the school office at least a term in advance of the start date; copies of the child’s Birth Certificate are required. Sefton Admissions information guides and policy documents are listed, including the proposed Admissions Policy 2027-28 with a consultation period 13 October to 23 November 2025 and contact details for comments to [email protected].
