St Luke's Halsall is a vibrant, happy school where children enjoy learning. We believe that this school is special and the relationships we develop with our children and their families enables us to create a friendly, caring and supportive atmosphere. We hold Christian values at the heart of all we do.
Extended School (Happy Club) provides all-day childcare from 7:45am to 6:00pm, with Breakfast Club 7:45am–8:45am and Afterschool Club 3:30pm–6:00pm. Nursery lunch is 11:45am–12:15pm and Nursery afternoon session is 12:15pm–3:15pm. 30 hours childcare places are available. Bookings for Happy Club are through Arbor; payments can be made in advance or on a daily basis, with possible weekly arrangements if agreed. Cancellation requires at least 24 hours’ notice, and refunds are not given. Full details are provided in the attached documents.
School meals are available to all children from Reception to Year 6. Children in Reception to Year 2 are entitled to a free meal under the Free Universal Meal Scheme. Children in Year 3 to Year 6 are charged £2.42 per day for meals (£12.10 per week). Nursery lunch session is £3.50 per session. The school also offers 30 hours funded childcare places and 15 hours funded places for eligible 3- and 4-year-olds.
