Maria Burns, Headteacher, states she is delighted and honoured to be appointed the headteacher of Green Park Primary and Nursery School, where children are at the heart of every decision and where each individual is valued.
SEND provision is described with a dedicated SENCO and Headteacher oversight; the school uses a graduated approach (Assess, Plan, Do, Review); access to outside agencies (SEPPS, SENISS, SALT, CAMHS, PMHS, OT, CNT, School Nurse); SEND register and Targeted Support Plans; parental involvement; EHCP can be pursued with consents.
Admissions are via Sefton Council. Nursery admissions priority: looked-after children or EHCP named for provision; siblings at Green Park; older birth dates; closest walking distance; date of Nursery application. Additional January and April intakes with adjusted criteria. For mainstream admissions, contact Sefton Admissions and the school.
