Welcome from Headteacher Kate McKenzie about Northway's ethos, motto and approach, inviting visits and highlighting an innovative, engaging curriculum and happy pupils.
Wrap around care includes Breakfast Club and After School Club with staff: Breakfast Club Staff: Miss W Jones, Mrs J Heatman, Mrs E Hardwick, Mrs Y Thomas; After School Club Staff: Mrs E Hardwick, Mrs I White.
Admissions follow Sefton Council policy for a single intake date. Children aged 5 between 1 September and 31 August may be admitted to the autumn term after their fifth birthday. Parents apply online to Sefton Admissions; Places are allocated by the Local Authority. Transition to Reception includes a welcome meeting, classroom visits, a staggered start and enhanced transition if needed. In-year admissions are handled by Sefton Admissions. Northway Nursery has 52 part-time places with two options (Stars Class and End of Week) and the transition process.
