This SEND Information Report forms part of the Local Offer for Learners with Special Educational Needs and Disability (SEND). The school provides high quality first teaching and caters for a diverse range of needs across four categories: Cognition and Learning; Speech, Language and Communication; Physical Disabilities/Medical; Social, Emotional and Mental Health Difficulties. Pupils are identified early through screening (e.g., Wellcomm, YARC, Boxall), pupil progress meetings, and a graduated response, with Individual Provision Plans (IPP) or specialised programmes, and input from the SENCo and outside agencies as needed.
Bearwood Primary School is a two-form entry school with 60 places available in each year group. Reception and In-Year Admissions are dealt with by the Local Authority. Applications for nursery places should be made directly to the school office.
