As Headteacher, I am privileged to lead a committed team of staff dedicated to 'educating each and every unique child in our care to hear and respond to what God calls them to be'. This mission guides us to give every child the opportunity to explore their vocation while achieving their best academically and personally within spiritual and moral guidance, through a broad curriculum and rich extra-curricular offer in a diverse, faith-filled community.

Curriculum Highlights

Core subjects English, Mathematics, Science and Religious Education are studied for all five years. Key Stage 3 curriculum goes beyond the National Curriculum and includes Enterprise (Computing, Business and Media) and Lifestyle (Healthy Body, Healthy Mind and Lifeskills) lessons along with History, Geography, Modern Foreign Languages, Performing Arts (Drama and Music), Art and Design (Art, Design Technology and Food Technology) and Physical Education. At Key Stage 4 there are a range of academic and vocational qualifications that pupils can choose to study; opportunity to gain a qualification in their home language. Literacy and numeracy skills are threaded throughout each subject’s curriculum; staff use a range of strategies to promote a love of reading.

Breakfast club from 8:20am; private study; after school to participate in homework club, extra-curricular clubs, tuition and catch-up; Library open for private study until 4:00pm; after school activities normally finish by 4:20pm.

Admissions Criteria

Admissions follow the Birmingham Local Authority coordinated scheme. The school’s ethos is Catholic and applicants are asked to respect this ethos; this does not affect the right of non-Catholic families to apply or be considered. In Year Applications are available (InYear Direct School Place Supplementary Form 2025-2026). Online application available. 2026 intake timelines: offers on 2 March 2026; appeals by 16 March 2026. Year 6 Induction Day: 1 July 2026. Secondary school starts in September.
