Head Teacher's Message

Headteacher Amanda Lamy welcomes visitors to Stanley Park Junior School, describing a three-form entry school with Gold Artsmark status, a safe and inclusive environment, a varied curriculum and strong home–school partnerships. She highlights an open-door policy, regular surveys, coffee mornings, family events and a proactive Parent-Teacher Association, and she emphasises making every child feel valued, listened to and successful.

Wraparound Care

Breakfast Club: Yes After-School Care: Yes

Wrap around care is available: The Pride Breakfast Club runs jointly by the Infants’ and Junior School from 7:45am to 8:45am in the Centenary Hall. Breakfast includes cereals, toast, fruit juice and a hot or cold drink; cost £4.50 per day. An ad-hoc option is £6.00 per session. Stanleys’ After School Club is run by Jancett Playsafe Clubs for pupils from both the Infants' and Junior School, 3:20pm–6:30pm in the Infants' School. Jancett Playsafe Clubs also run holiday clubs in the local area during school holidays and INSET days; details at Jancett’s website or by calling 020 8669 1725.

SEND Provision

Stanley Park Junior School provides inclusive education with a SEND team, including a SENDCo and ELSA-trained staff; information and support are linked to the London Borough of Sutton Local Offer; policies include SEND Policy and SEND Information Report.

Admissions Criteria

As a foundation school, the Governing Body is the admission authority. PAN for Sept 2024–25 is 90. Admissions are coordinated by the Local Authority; when applications exceed places, over-subscription criteria apply as outlined in Admissions Policies. Open days are offered; supplementary information forms may be required for exceptional circumstances or admission outside year group. Closing date for entry in September 2025 is 15 January 2025; outcomes posted 16 April 2025; appeals process available.

Financial Information

Wrap around care: Breakfast Club 7:45am–8:45am £4.50 per day; ad-hoc £6.00 per session. After School Club run by Jancett Playsafe Clubs (hours 3:20pm–6:30pm) with charges available from Jancett; SPJS staff-run after-school clubs cost £25.00 per child per term (£12.50 for means-tested Free School Meals). Hall lettings: main school hall £28.00 per hour; Centenary Hall £22.50 per hour; deposit £50.
