St Mary’s Catholic Federation is a Voluntary Aided Catholic school in the Archdiocese of Southwark. It is a Christian community where Gospel values such as love, justice, tolerance, kindness, forgiveness and respect are reflected in policies and practices. Religious Education is taught in the light of the Gospel values and permeates every aspect of school life. The home–parish–school link is essential to the RE programme. The curriculum follows the national curriculum framework with a Catholic framework such as ‘Come and See’ and a Discover and Wonder approach, with daily prayer and Mass linked to the four feeder parishes.
Clubs
Nursery after-school wraparound care from 2:30pm to 3:15pm daily. An extended provision is available at £7.50 per day, per child, per week, subject to staffing availability. Payments are in advance and invoices are issued at the start of term. No refunds will be made for non-attendance. There is no before-school wraparound care for Nursery pupils.
Nursery admissions include up to 39 places in the Infant Nursery; 15-hour and 30-hour nursery placements are offered. 15 Hours per week are typically 8:30am–11:30am (term-time only). From September 2025, 30-hour placements run 8:30am–2:30pm (including lunchtime). An extended wraparound provision from 2:30pm–3:15pm is available for an additional charge. Applications for Nursery 2025–2026 closed on 15 January 2025. Catholic families may need to submit a Certificate of Catholic Practice (CCP) or baptism documents as part of the process. Open days are held monthly, and additional paperwork (Nursery Application Form, Admissions Administration Document, CCP, etc.) may be required. Nursery applications are managed via [email protected] and via the local authority where applicable.
Wraparound care charges: £7.50 per day, per child, per week for the extension 2:30pm–3:15pm (Nursery). All wraparound care payments are in advance with invoices issued at the start of term. No refunds will be made for non-attendance. There is a charge for instrumental lessons and other after-school activities where applicable.
