Welcome from Head Jane Bond: Kew College Prep is an independent prep school and nursery for children aged 3–11, focused on creating a happy, inclusive, nurturing community where every child is valued, encouraged to think independently, and supported to achieve outstanding results. The school emphasises independence, creativity, and a warm, welcoming atmosphere, with opportunities to visit via open mornings and tours.
Wraparound care is available. Nursery wraparound care runs from 7:30am to 5:30pm; full-day Nursery is 8:30am–3:30pm with optional wraparound care, with potential for half days if required.
SEN support as required.
Priority is given to registered siblings and to children of former Kew College Prep pupils. Registration places a child on our waiting list and requires a £75 registration fee. If we can offer a place, a deposit of £2,750 is required (fully refunded when the child leaves at the end of Year 6). For admissions, a child may be invited to a taster morning and a short meeting with a teacher depending on age. For families relocating from overseas, admissions may include an online meeting with the Registrar. Online meetings with Registrar Michelle are available to discuss available places and school life.
Nursery (half day) VAT exempt £3,145; Nursery (full day) VAT exempt £5,580; Reception to Year 6 VAT inclusive £6,696. Fees include all books and equipment, specialist teachers, Forest School, swimming and weekly dance, all-day trips, visiting speakers and specialists, Teaching Assistants in every year, SEN support as required, 11+ preparation materials, and optional hot lunch.
